We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial and accounting operations of our rapidly growing commercial building and construction management firm. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a visionary finance executive to drive strategy, ensure financial health, and support long-term growth.

This pivotal leadership role reports directly to the President and will be based at our New Orleans, LA office. The CFO will play a central role in shaping the company’s future—ensuring operational efficiency, financial stability, and profitability across our construction portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all financial functions including strategic planning, budgeting, banking, insurance, audits, taxes, and internal controls

Collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and operational excellence

Mentor and manage accounting and finance teams, ensuring compliance and performance

Partner with project managers, clients, and vendors to support contract execution and fiscal outcomes on major infrastructure projects

Implement advanced financial systems and tools to enable real-time, data-driven decision-making

Ideal Candidate Profile

10+ years of experience in accounting and finance within the construction industry

Stable career history with a large construction firm (General Contractor, Construction Manager, EPC, Design-Build, Civil or Specialty Contractor)

Proven leadership in financial operations and team management

Expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, audits/tax compliance, and ERP/accounting systems

Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills

Open to seasoned CFOs or high-performing Controllers/VPs of Finance ready to step into a top leadership role
